Roethlisberger played quarterback at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
When he was there he started as a red shirt freshmen, and started three
years of division 1 football. Ben holds every quarterback record that
there is at Miami University. As a red shirt freshmen Ben threw for over
3,100 yards. In 2002, he threw more than 3,200 yards, and in 2003, he
threw more than 4,400 yards. His number was retired by the RedHawks in
91st annual homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007. It was the first time
in 34 years that Miami retired a football jersey number. He accomplished
a lot in his college career. Making himself a legend.
